Rink Management Services To Acquire Operations of North American Ice

Mechanicsville, VA � May 18, 2005 - Rink Management Services Corporation (RMS) announced today that it is acquiring the operations of North American Ice Development (NAI), a Vancouver, BC, based construction management and consulting company specializing in the ice rink industry. Wayne Aussem, NAI�s founder and president, will be joining Rink Management Services to head up the company�s design and construction management practice. He will also handle operations in Canada.
�North American Ice Development has a good book of business and a loyal customer base, which will help with our growth targets,�said Tom Hillgrove, RMS� president, �but the real value is having Wayne join our team. He is one of the elite in the field of ice rink design, construction, and operations. He�s been involved in key positions in more than 39 construction projects. His experience, knowledge, and contacts will benefit our clients.�

Aussem said he has been discussing the acquisition by RMS for some time.

Collectively, they�ve done the best job of developing a system to manage ice rinks efficiently on a national basis.
